Description

It is also known as coconut aldehyde. Oily and colorless liquid with a fruit smell.

Uses

It is used in the manufacture of fragrances and the combination of flavors: coconut, apricot, peach, vanilla, maple, honey and chocolate. It is also used in organic synthesis.

Properties

It is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents and oxidizers, acids and alkali hydroxides.
